ALARMS

91.07     FALSE ALARMS.
            This applies to residential, commercial, burglary, holdup and trouble  
            alarms.

           FALSE ALARMS means activation of an alarm system through 
             mechanical failure, malfunction, improper installation, or the 
             negligence of the owner or lessee of an alarm system or of his
             employees or agents.

CHARGES FOR FALSE ALARMS

The Chief of Police shall charge such permit holder a fee if FIFTY ($50.00) DOLLARS for each false alarm in excess of two (2) per calendar quarter transmitted by an alarm system. Such charges shall be payable to the city of Oakbrook terrace and remitted to the Police Department by the user or permit holder within thirty (30) days upon receipt of a statement for such charge.
