From time to time the Oakbrook Terrace Board of Police Commissioners seek police officer applicants to establish an eligibility list from which officer vacancies will be filled. At the present time the application period is closed. Those interested in a law enforcement career with the Oakbrook Terrace Police Department should review the following applicant qualifications.

            QUALIFICATIONS

21-34 years of age, at time of application - by law certain exceptions may apply.

High School Diploma or GED Certificate

U.S. Citizen

bullet

Valid Driver's License

bullet

Must submit an Online Application and all requested documentation by noon on November 28, 2007. Application information is given below.

Attend the mandatory Orientation Program

bullet

Must pass Physical Agility Test, Written Test, Oral Interview, Background Investigation, Polygraph Test and Medical Examination.
