Crime index offenses are required to be reported by local law enforcement agencies to the Illinois Uniform Crime Reporting (IUCR) program on a monthly basis. Statistics are published annually by the Illinois State Police in a publication entitled "Crime in Illinois". Copies of this report can be obtained by contacting the Illinois State Police, Springfield, Illinois 62708. This report is also available online at http://www.state.il.us/isp
